Caleb Ray - This Little Light Album Review

Caleb Ray is a musician and worship leader from Oregon. Tomorrow Caleb is releasing a brand new album titled "This Little Light".

To be completely honest it took me a little while to get warmed up to the album and really drawn in. However after just a couple of songs I was captivated by the sound and message. This album has an acoustic pop/rock sound that really intrigued me.

Warr Acres - Hope Will Rise Album Review

Today DREAM Records artist, Warr Acres released their sophomore album "Hope Will Rise".

The album starts with the upbeat pop/dance song "Pulse". This song has a lot energy that is infectious! You can't help but tap your foot or sing along during the "Oh's" in the chorus! Jonathan Thulin from Press Play does some guest vocals on the second song "Freedom Fall". This song also has that rhythmic beat that I can't help but nod my head along with! Having Jonathan sing on this song along with the beat and energy, it sounds very similar to something you might hear from Press Play.

Winter Jam Officially Announces 2014 Artist Line Up & Dates

Later today Winter Jam is suppose to announce the 2014 line up through their new Winter Jam App. 

However Thousand Foot Krutch posted a picture on Facebook earlier today that showed all of the artists for 2014. The picture has since been removed, and I don't want to help add to the spoiler...but I will tell you 3 things....

Superchick Set To Release Recollection Album October 29th

Superchick announced back in August that they each felt like it was time to move on from the band and pursue other things (you can read the message from the band here). This was a sad piece of news for many Superchick fans. 

However before the band is done, they are releasing a sort of new album! The album is titled "Recollection" and it will feature 5 brand new songs, and 11 classics. Recollection comes out this Tuesday, October 29th!

7eventh Time Down - Just Say Jesus Album Review

7eventh Time Down released their second studio album "Just Say Jesus" on September 3rd. I loved the bands debut album, so I was very excited about the release of "Just Say Jesus".

The album draws you in right from the beginning with the rock song "Wait For You". Hearing the song for the first time I was instantly hooked! I was already a fan of 7eventh Time Down's music prior to reviewing this album, so I had somewhat high expectations for this album. I am very happy to report that I was not by any means disappointed by this album.

This free download was one of my favorites that I found. Vertical Church Band has a sound similar to that of Passion or Hillsong. Although the free download is only one song, it is definitely worth downloading!

Press Play - #LITO Album Review

Press Play released their new album #LITO on October 1st, 2013. #LITO is Press Play's fourth studio album.

The album starts off with the self titled single "#LITO". This song sets the tone for the album with a fun pop/dance beat, catchy lyrics and a message of love. This song also solves the mystery of the album title, the chorus of the song says "This is your life, your chance to Love In The Open", so #LITO stands for Love In The Open.

Thousand Foot Krutch Releases Compilation Album Along With Two New Songs On October 15th

Thousand foot Krutch are releasing a first hits compilation titled "Made In Canada: The 1998-2012 Collection" on October 15th. Along with the 12 hit songs on the album, there will also be two brand new songs! There are more details in the press release attached.

Bread Of Stone - The Real Life Album Review

Bread Of Stone recently signed with DREAM Records, so they re-released their album "The Real Life" with DREAM on September 24th.

Prior to reviewing this album I was not familiar with Bread Of Stone's music at all. I hadn't really even heard of the band, and that is too bad because I was missing out. Bread Of Stone has a unique pop sound, but more than that they have an amazing message that they are sharing through their music.

7eventh Time Down Helps Support Saaed With Thier New Music Video

SEATTLE, WA - Sept. 25, 2013 - A new music video from Kentucky-based 7eventh Time Down features an emotional message from the family of Saeed Abedini, an American pastor, father and husband currently imprisoned in Iran because of sharing his Christian faith. The video for "Just Say Jesus" - the title track and latest single from the band's sophomore project which released earlier this month via BEC Recordings - is in support of the Be Heard Project and the American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) in an attempt to free Pastor Saeed from one of Iran's most brutal prisons. The video was directed by Kevin Kookogey for First Company Management.

Dara Maclean - Wanted Album Review

Dara Maclean is a contemporary singer and songwriter from Fort Worth, TX. She just released her sophomore album "Wanted" today.

Dara Maclean has a very unique sound that she describes as "70's Influenced Acoustic Soul Meets Modern Pop". If I were to describe her music with one word I would go back to the 70's and say that her music is groovy. I never listened to Dara's previous album "You Got My Attention", so I was not sure what to expect from this album.

Darrell Evans - Awesome God Is He Album Review

Darrel Evans mastermind of the popular worship song "Trading My Sorrows", released a brand new album today titled "Awesome God Is He".

 "Awesome God Is He" is Darrell's 9th studio album, but it is his first album with DREAM Records. The album starts off with the song "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" and from then on you are in for a treat. This album has the best of both worlds, a fantastic sound that is very unique and lyrics that are all about praising God.

Chris and Jodi stepped out on faith, sold their house and traveled all over to pursue their passion, music. Through all of the ups and downs of their experiences this album was inspired.

How did Total Surrender get started?

Total Surrender got started as my wife and I - Rachel and Dylan Bradshaw - began leading worship at different bible studies and ministries in the RI area.  We then began playing out at local coffee houses with original music that I had written.  Jim Landolfi and Charlie Jacques began to come over just to play for fun originally.  Our music began to evolve and God began to really open up doors for us.

Total Surrender Album Review

As soon as the album starts you get introduced to Total Surrenders sound through a song called "Dance Until You Come". This song has a pretty good upbeat worship type of sound. A lot of the music through out this album is more worship based I would say. However there are a few song that are musically more rock based, like "Free" or "The Only Way".
